I watched a 5-year-old little boy with Down Syndrome, autism, and non verbal communication skills from July 2022-July 2023. I absolutely adored him and was supposed to be his respite caregiver once I was of age but plans change. I also cared for an 18-year-old with down syndrome for a little bit as well. I am always eager to learn and expand my knowledge in unfamiliar areas, especially when it comes to supporting individuals with special needs.
