About Audrey

I have been babysitting since I was a junior in high school, starting with the children of family friends. The ages varied from 4-7. In the Summer of 2018 I started working at a childcare center and continued working there a few weeks in the fall and winter when I was home from school. I was in charge of watching children from ages 4-11, in groups that varied from 1-18 kids. I was in charge of ensuring the safety of all the children in my care, I taught them problem solving skills and came up with fun activities for the children to take part in (crafts, gym games, STEM projects). I currently attend Grand Valley State University where I have earned a degree in Spanish and have one semester left in nursing school. I also work part-time at Saint Mary's Trinity Health as a Nurse Extern. I have two dogs of my own, so I am extremely comfortable animals, but am allergic to cats. I grew up on a lake and am an excellent swimmer, so I am comfortable being around water and I am CPR certified.
