My name is Audrey , I'm a senior at Hamilton High School and an aspiring elementary school teacher! I'm passionate about creating a fun and safe environment for kids. During my junior year I took Early Childhood Careers and was a part of the Hamilton Play Group, a program for students to make and implement lessons with preschoolers in our district. My 2 students were ages 4 and 5; we had a lot of fun making crafts, reading, and playing games. Through taking Early Childhood Careers, I earned my Assistant Childcare Teacher (ACCT) Certificate along with AHT, SIDS Awareness, and Mandated Reporter training. Last semester, I was an assistant teacher for my third grade teacher, Mrs. O'Connell, at Woodside Elementary School. I spent the semester getting to know the students and helping them with their daily work. I also have experience babysitting my 3 little cousins who are ages 3-7.
