My youngest sister and I are very close. She was born with Down Syndrome and I have loved helping her my whole life. I also spent a year in a special education preschool classroom (PEP). I have had many opportunities to work with peers and children with special needs and know that it is what I want to do. I currently work full time in a medical/special ed daycare and preschool facility for Kennedy Krieger Institute while beginning my masters program in child life.
