About Audrey

I have been caring for people in the Santa Barbara area for nearly four years, but my experience with caregiving extends far beyond that and I have been passionate about taking care of people since I was a young child. I am currently employed full-time as a nanny but am starting to feel burned out and would like a slight career shift. I was previously employed as a medical assistant at a busy family practice where the majority of my patients were over 70 years old. The highlight of my day was chatting with and listening to my elderly patients tell amazing stories and ask my opinion on current events. Making sure they felt heard cared for, and respected were my top priorities. I received CNA training in high school where I learned basic ambulation, bathing, and dressing techniques. I am also a California-certified EMT with CPR and First Aid certification. I am highly capable and motivated and can complete any task with some training.
