I am a diligent, upbeat, caring person who can add value to your caregiver routine and give you a little break on a regular or periodic basis. I am not a nurse by profession but have a BA in Psychology from a Big 10 University of which aging and elder care was a part of the curriculum. I cared for my grandmother with dementia on a part-time basis at her home until she passed at 90. I am patient, enjoy listening to life stories, board or card games, and offering insights when asked. I can help with light housework, baking, cooking and medication management.
