Audra worked for me providing childcare services to my 3 kids ages 2, 3 and 4 years old for about a month. She started off well but due to it not being a structured environment for her it turned out to not be a good fit. She was provided all teaching materials and more but struggled teaching and caring for different ages at once. She was interviewed and spoke on her experience in Montessori and daycare and library but because it was long ago and most of her work has been in a library , reading to kids with their parents there our job role was too much for her. Main things are time management and class management she lacks and needs to work on. Her communication style is passive and so she doesn't communicate her needs and just leaves which is where her lack of reliability and dependability comes in. She told us an hour and a half before her shift that she was bringing her oldest daughter to work and because of the confidentiality work I and my husband does, along with we do not know her daughter, we told her we cannot accommodate that. Plus Audra was background checked and all but we know nothing of her daughter to come into our home and be around our babies. Because she couldn't bring her adult daughter she decided to quit last minute causing me to have to last minute put my kids into daycare and cancel meetings I had scheduled for when her shift started. I may add NEVER did I mention or hint to her that bringing someone to work would be okay . Because of this , she's not a reliable person. She is a sweet lady but if seeking to hire her you want more of a librarian vibe, tutor or something without kids like cleaning. She would probably be best sitting older children that are school aged and not toddlers .
