About Aubrey

I am a teacher in St. Tammany Parish and would love to tutor your child! I graduated from LSU in English Secondary Education in 2017 and will graduate with an M. Ed. in Special Education at Northwestern University in May 2022. I have five years of teaching experience, two teaching 10th grade ELA and three teaching 7th and 8th grade ELA to students with exceptionalities. I am certified in Project Read Linguistics, a multi-sensory reading fluency program, and Project Read Report Forms, a multi-sensory reading comprehension program. Although I am certified for grades 6-12, I have experience tutoring students of all ages in reading and writing. I would love to help your child improve their reading, writing, and communication skills with my own materials or by helping them complete homework, study for tests, or write essays and book reports. I believe in teaching children, not lessons. I will meet your children where they are and help them grow while being a calming, comforting presence.
