I have over 5 years of experience with kids and adults with special needs and it is my core passion! I was intensively involved in the special needs club in middle and high school while also volunteering as a camp counselor at a special needs camp every summer. I was a nanny for a girl with severe autism in high school and it lead my heart and led me to study special education. I was also a nanny for another child with disabilities in 2022 and my duties included picking her up from school, taking her to appointments, feeding her through a g tube, assisting with hygiene, etc. I've learned to navigate challenges with empathy and celebrate victories big and small, all while fostering independence and joy!
