About Athena

I have been caring for children since I was 15 years old and have experience with babies as young as newborns and children as old as 13 years old. I have cared for over 12 families in the past whether it was one night of babysitting, being a mother's helper or nannying for the summer. I also have experience with overnights as I have five nieces and one nephew that I have been taking care of since they were born. In the past, I babysat and nannied through a certified company that has completed a background check on me as well as had me go through a lengthy application and approval process. I've always enjoyed being around children and people in general (I grew up with 5 siblings so I have seen it all). My mother is also a home visitor for new mothers who need guidance, as a result, I am educated on the specifics of helping new mothers. I know how difficult it was for my mother to raise 5 children as a single mother so I love and truly enjoy being able to help out in any way!
