Hello! I am Astrid. I am from Puerto Rico and moved to US in 2015 to pursue a MSE in Mechanical Engineering. Yes, I am a mechanical engineer now. I graduated in 2018. However, I love and truly enjoy taking care of kids. I've been certified with CPR and first aid in the past, I know how to swim and how to teach swimming, I love dogs, I am allergic to cats (it's sad, but it is what it is). I enjoy playing outside and inside, and engaging with kids. I am very disciplined and can work with strict parents as well parents that are not. I am very easy going but know when and where there should be limits, at least from my perspective. I can speak and communicate in both English and Spanish. I have my passport up to date so I can travel internationally. I am fully vaccinated against SARS-COV-2 and take precautions to not get the virus daily.
