About Aspen

I like working with kids because you never know what might come next! They are all so different but surprise us in ways we may not see coming, usually for the good. I'm looking for a job that is flexible as I am a college student but steady enough at the same time. I'd love to take care of a family for a long period of time getting to see the children grow. I started working with kids by myself four years ago when I was 14, I'm almost 19. But before that I had assisted my mom in preschool and kindergarten classes as well as babysitting since I can remember. In my spare time, I like to read, ride my bike, or generally most things outside. I love to spend time outdoors, enjoying the fresh air. I'd love to take children in my care outside as much as they want! One thing you should know about me is I love to be involved with my community. I've volunteered at the local elementary schools as well as the local fire department as their Miss Honorary Fire Chief!
