I have a degree in Child and Family Studies from Columbia College and I've spent my time since graduation working with adults with special needs. In college and high school I worked camp and daycare settings as well as for a few families as a nanny. I have a huge heart for children, especially the differently able population, and I am so excited to use what I've learned during my career in human services to assist a family in the care of their precious children or adults. I am currently pursuing both my Guardian ad Litem and paralegal certificates via online programs and am looking for a long-term, full-time position while I am back in school. We interviewed Ashton for our nanny position and found her to be so kindhearted, nurturing and mature beyond her years. Her background makes her especially good at caring for children of all personality types and needs. Her maturity shows in her understanding to adjust discipline and teaching to suit each child. Ashton conveyed a genuine love of children and a passion for aiding in their development. I feel she would be a great addition to any family as a nanny.
