About Ash

I love animals! I have taken care of many dogs and cats throughout my life. Some of them have been my own, some I cared for while house sitting, others I would make house visits or they would get dropped off with me. I also have taken care of many of my friends' pets for extended periods of time, developing close relationships with them quickly through patience, observing body cues, play, consistency, and treats:) I have worked with small to large, outgoing to shy, young to old, different breeds and mixes. I enjoy making animals feel good by feeding them on time, taking them out regularly (depending on the animal), offering them opportunities for exercise and play, making sure they're cleaned up and that their dishes are clean, being attentive to their comfort, giving clear boundaries, and using positive communication but firmness when needed (mostly in regards to safety).
