About Ash

Ash has been our daughter's full-time nanny (9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri) for over a year, beginning when our daughter was 6 months old. Above all, we are very happy with the way that Ash treats our daughter with love and respect, and the way they foster her independence. In addition to the usual care tasks, they are constantly finding creative ways to structure her day and provide her with new learning opportunities (sensory play, painting, water play, cookign and baking together). I'm also grateful for the way that they attune to our daughter's changing needs as she grows: in the early months, they focused on developing her eating skills, like drinking from a cup and using utensils, and they implemented our sleep training approach and helped her to nap independently. In recent months, they have organized more outings and playdates now that our daughter is older and can benefit from more social interaction. Ash is dependable, responsibile, and a great communicator, which makes working with them very easy. They also were very professional in navigating a tough social situation - midway through their contract, they navigated our daughter's move into two households and have since been managing a complicated custody schedule. It's clear that Ash cares deeply for the children that they care for and I highly recommend them!
