About Ashlyn

I am currently teaching Health and PE to 9th-12th graders and am also the head volleyball coach. I graduated from University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science-Health and Fitness. I did so while playing volleyball at South for 4 years. Since graduation, I have taught children at the Elementary through High School age levels. I have coached volleyball since I was in high school and have coached 8U all the way to 17U. I have 1 year of experience as a nanny for a newborn-1-year-old and 2 years of experience in care taking 3-12-year-olds. I am CPR certified and have training in certain types of medical emergencies due to my degree and profession. Teaching and training kids is my passion and my ministry and it brings me so much joy to play a part in so many children's lives!
