About Ashlynn

Hi there, my name is Ashlynn and I am finishing my sophomore year at CSU for social work. My formal childcare experience began recently in a daycare setting, but I have been involved in the caretaking of children since middle school when my parents began fostering children. I am comfortable working with children of all ages. I value open communication with parents and am comfortable with enforcing any household rules set by the parents, but always do so in a kind and gentle manor. I am active and creative, often generating a variety of activities to keep the child happy and stimulated. This could mean practicing sports together, helping with schoolwork, walking and playing at the park, musical activities, fun crafts, and anything else your specific child is interested in. Care during the school year will need to be discussed around my specific schedule, but I would love to provide more full time care in the summer and during breaks.
