About Ashlie

I am the oldest of 8 children, so I have had experience with childcare from my earliest years. I now enjoy spending time with my 16 nieces and nephews, 13 of whom are children. I have been told again and again that I "have a way" with children and they seem to have a special love for me. I worked at a residential school for children with Autism for almost 6 years. I worked as a nurse in pediatric home health for a time and in pediatric offices for about 6 years. I am responsible and dependable. I am always on time and do not believe in using my cell phone while working. I am respectful and attentive. When it comes to activities in childcare, I would prefer active and creative play over watching TV or spending time on electronic devices. I am a Christian and this influences the way I act and treat others.
