About Ashley

I started babysitting in high school, caring for both toddlers and infants. Over the summers, I volunteered at my family's childcare center for foster youth in Tacoma, where I developed a passion for helping children thrive in supportive environments. In addition, I have over four years of experience teaching swim lessons to children, and I've also run internship programs for teens, fostering their growth and development. I love to read and have volunteered for Read for America. I enjoy helping others fall in loving with reading. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I was a nanny for a first grader, where I supported distance learning and helped create a balanced routine. I'm known for being patient and well-tempered, always ensuring that children feel safe and cared for. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, and I look forward to bringing my experience and positive energy into your family's care routine.
