I have had a passion for working with children with all different ability types for as long as I can remember. My experience working with children with special needs started when I was 14 babysitting for a family friend who had two children with special needs. One was on the autism spectrum and the other had developmental disabilities from complications at birth. I have also worked in a special needs preschool classroom in the clover park school district. In that classroom I worked with a range of different abilities including speech delays, behavior management, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, and various other physical disabilities. I am looking to continue my schooling to ultimately teach elementary special education. I would love your consideration for working with your amazing children.
