About Ashley

I am a current college student and this summer, I've been working at a summer camp serving children from the ages of 2-6. The experience has been wonderful, and has certified my decision in becoming an educator for my future career. Through this job I've learned a number of skills including; organizing events for the children, whether it was art and crafts, different movement like dancing to music from another county, or sometimes, just reading a good book together. I prepared meals for the children and helped them explore the Spanish language teaching them as many words as a I could. I learned to listen to the children and their needs whether they said it outright or through body language. I created a strong communicative relationship with the parents and always asked what I could do better on. I strongly value the relationship and trust that I create with both, the child and parent. I hope I will be considered as a sitter for you and can't wait to meet you!
