About Ashley

Having had prior experience in childcare, whether that be babysitting or teaching children from ages 2-13; I'm passionate about fostering a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn. With a background in education and a few year of experience, I'm well-equipped to support their cognitive, emotional, and physical development. My patient and friendly nature allows me to connect easily with children, building a foundation of trust and respect. I believe in open communication and maintaining a strong partnership with parents. I provide regular updates on their child's day, ensuring their peace of mind. While I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, I prioritize understanding and teaching the reasons behind them. My approach to playtime is diverse, including outdoor games that promote physical activity, board games that enhance strategic thinking, and educational games that make learning fun. I'm also a skilled swimmer and would love to teach swimming, if desired.
