I'd describe my personality as positive, dynamic, and respectful. I like tutoring because it allows me flexibility and the ability to help students find success and confidence in their learning abilities. I'm looking for a job that allows an affordable way for parents to support their child's academic success! I started tutoring when I retired from teaching this year. In my spare time, I like to garden, do DYI projects, create art and design landscapes. I also love to read, spend time with family, and travel. I am a life long learner and am an active with biking, running, and hiking. One thing you should know about me - I guarantee that I will help your child discover his/her unique learning style to ensure school success! My skills include bringing students to grade level and above in core subjects of: ELA ( Reading/Writing) Mathematics ( K- 8 and Pre Algebra/Algebra I) Content Areas ( Social Studies and Sciences).
