Hello - My name is Ashley, I am outgoing, joyful and creative person. I graduated from Santa Monica College with an associate of science in early childhood studies and have plans to pursue to further my education in the future. I enjoy being a nanny and have watched infants, toddlers, and kids (including multiple children at a time) for a few months before I became a preschool teacher in July 2018. As COVID-19 occur, the preschool closed and I took a pause on my teaching career. I started to Nanny for full-time and I would nanny for a few other families though Care. com. I love to bring in different activities for children that I'm working with based off the child's interests. I'm educated on different philosophies such as Reggio Emilia and Montessori approach. I'm finger printed and first aid/ CPR certificated. I'm fully vaccinated + booster. I'm an animal lover and comfortable to work with families who have pets.

Ashley worked with our family for 8 months and in that time, our son went from barely knowing his colors to counting (in multiple languages), verbally expressing his emotions, and being able to sing all the words to over two dozen songs. Ashley is a dream to work with. She has extensive practical as well as theoretical knowledge of toddler development and child-led play. We will miss working with her and I would absolutely recommend hiring Ashley.
