Hi there! I have always been drawn to child care since my younger sister was born when I was 9 years old. Naturally, I was by my mother's side, helping in daily care and duties. As an adult, I consider myself to be an empathetic, intuitive and a naturally nurturing person! My college background focuses primarily on Early Childhood Education. I also have 4 years of experience being a Lead Teacher in a family owned, accredited preschool, 0-5 years old. I followed Project Based Learning in a guided learning classroom. I mainly taught 3-year-olds, but I have experience with all age groups. I have been a nanny for multiple families in Chicago and Puerto Rico. I am open to short term and long term contracts. I couldn't wait to write this review for Ashley! This was my first experience hiring a babysitter for my children, aged 3 and 6, whom they had never met before. Naturally, I was a bit apprehensive, especially since we were going to be in Puerto Rico for a month. However, from the moment Ashley arrived, it felt as though she had known my kids their entire lives. Her warmth, attentiveness, and nurturing demeanor put my worries at ease almost instantly. Ashley has an extraordinary ability to connect with children. My youngest, who can be quite challenging at times, warmed up to her remarkably quickly. It was incredible to see him not only engage with her but also participate in various activities with enthusiasm. She made both kids feel comfortable and safe, even in situations they were initially unsure about, like being in the pool. Her gentle encouragement and kindness helped them overcome their hesitation and enjoy themselves thoroughly. One of the most impressive aspects of Ashley's care was her professionalism. She was always focused on engaging with my children, making sure they felt included and entertained. Her gentle and kind approach was evident in every interaction, making my children feel special and valued. It was clear that she was there to create a positive and enjoyable experience for them, which she did flawlessly. Having Ashley with us in Aguadilla was a true blessing. Her warm spirit and patient nature made a lasting impression on our family. We felt so fortunate to have her with us during our stay. While we wish we could take her with us everywhere, we wholeheartedly hope that all her dreams and desires come true. She deserves all the best life has to offer.
