We hired Ashley to nanny our under 2yo toddler. It has been a great experience. She is gentle and kind. Our child loves spending time with her. She is very capable and trustworthy. They spend a lot of time playing and reading. At our request she minimizes television and screen time. She is present and focused when they are together. She takes him out for walks in the neighborhood or to playgrounds. She even watches him play in his kiddie pool on hot days. We are comfortable with her driving him and loaned her a car seat for her car. She can prepare him age appropriate meals if needed. She is competent with giving medications by mouth. She is very flexible and has done some bedtime routine shifts. She is great at bathing, brushing teeth, changing into PJs and putting him to bed. She has been the person to get him up in the mornings sometimes, and he is happy to see her even when he first wakes up. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
