Hello, my name is Ash! I have over 10 years of experience as a babysitter/nanny for both neurotypical and neurodivergent children. I also have over 2 years of experience working in a clinic, in schools, and in-home for children ages 3-12 with autism, ADHD, Down's syndrome, and other developmental disabilities. I have a master's degree in counseling and have spent the past year working as a counselor intern at a therapy office that specializes in working with children and adolescents. I have experience assisting with schoolwork (both in-person and virtual school), helping with daily living tasks, and of course lots of playtime! I'm used to helping with homework, housework, errands, and even pet care. My favorite part of working with kids is getting to know each child on an individual level and encouraging confidence and self-esteem in school, friendships, and life as they grow.

Ash did absolutely incredible with our two kids. This was our first time hiring a sitter, so we were all extremely nervous. Ash handled the entire thing beautifully. She showed up on time, communicated regularly with us to keep us updated and quell our fears, read and played with our older child and was able to put her to bed without any issues, and managed the special needs of our younger child exceptionally well. I was nervous the equipment we use for him was going to be overwhelming, but Ash took it all in stride. I can only hope she enjoyed working with us as much as we enjoyed working with her, because I am absolutely looking forward to hiring her again the next time we need a sitter.
