My first experience with caregiving was living with my grandma for 11 years through her late stage Alzheimer's. From a young age I've had a passion for caring for others, no matter our differences. I have worked professionally as an in-home disability caregiver for 12 years, for clients with different ages, backgrounds, disabilities, and personalities. I respect my clients' home, autonomy, voice and boundaries. I also have senior living facility experience and I'm pursuing my CNA certification. I am energetic, creative, and team-oriented, with excellent multitasking abilities. I take pride in creating an uplifting, friendly atmosphere, to build relationships. I accept difficult circumstances with patience and flexibility, and accommodate and adapt to the needs of those around me. I am intuitive and observant and often anticipate problems before they happen. I like to use art to communicate positivity and inspire others to reflect on themselves and their surroundings.
