Hello!! My name is Ashley and I am a junior in college going to school for special education. I have a couple of child education classes that I have taken already. I was also a lifeguard for four years, but I no longer have my CPR certification. I am willing to get my certification again if that would make any family feel more comfortable with my care. Over the passed year and a half I have been a care companion for a 17-year-old girl with autism. I picked her up from school and we work on everyday task to further her independence. We also do worksheets together to help her further her math and reading skills. I love working with her, but she is getting older and more independent, so now I am looking to take on other jobs. I'd still like to work with her, but I am just not working with her as much.
