I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education, and completed two semesters of the Autism Intervention program at UNT. I completed over 400 hours of student teaching, was a special education teacher teaching a K-5 resource classroom, a paraprofessional in a high school special education classroom, and spent a year taking care of a young man with a disability in his home 50 hours a week; services included assisting the nurse with g-tube feeding, CPT, wheelchair transferring with hoyers, grooming, seizure care, meal prep, and light housekeeping. I also spent six months doing home health taking care of elderly clients as a CNA. My experience working with individuals with special needs dates back to elementary school; I have dedicated my life to this field, and am looking for an individual to assist in their home long-term.
