About Ashley

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am a Pediatric Trauma Nurse with a Masters in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University. My main goal is to become a pediatric Nurse Practitioner in a couple of years. I have many years of experience working with children as a volunteer at Pediatric clinics, as a summer camp coordinator at Carson Community Center, and as a behavior therapist for autistic babies/children for two years. These experiences have given me the appropriate skills to provide care and entertain a child using fun engaging activities throughout the day. I have a passion for working with children and have an energetic and playful personality that kids seem to adhere to. I have also interned at the Medical/Surgical Department and OBG/YN department at a Kaiser Permanente, and have assisted RN's with taking vitals and caring for the patients. I enjoy making a positive difference in people's lives and love being energetic and working with children
