I have tutored 5 students in SAT prep; 3 students in college writing; ~200 students (grades 1-12) in online sessions for reading, writing, English, math, quiz/test preparation, and essays for any subject (2008-present). I am an excellent listener. I care about students' achievement as well as their well-being. I want them to be comfortable talking with me in sessions and leave the session with added confidence in their knowledge and abilities. I also have over 15 years of experience as a professional writer, editor, and proofreader. I hold master's and bachelor's degrees in English.
