I've always had a passion for helping children learn and grow, which led me to offering to be a childcare provider. Based on Montessori influences and having direct experiences through all development stages, think of me as the experienced "aunt" who kids like to spend time with. I focus on keeping children engaged, safe, and having fun while listening to their individual interests. I love playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, educational games and arts & crafts. You will see me down on the floor with kids playing with anything from trains to Lego's to a bear tea party. When it comes to communicating with parents, I believe in open and honest communication. I provide verbal updates at pickup and follow their preferred communication method throughout the day. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules, ensuring a safe and consistent environment for the children in my care.

Ashley has been an incredible caretaker for our 2.5 year old son. She is creative, engaging and attentive. Our little calls her his “best friend” and lights up when he knows she is scheduled to come over. Somehow she manages to get him to do all the things we can’t - like read book after book, eat his veggies and get down for nap on time. Her stamina and patience always impress me. She exposes our little man to lots of varied activities (music, art, math, and social concepts like politeness, sharing & executive functions) and always makes it fun. Her montessori background really shows. She asks about how we parent and what our “rules” are so that she can seamlessly fold in while also giving our son new perspecitves and experiences that we would be comfortable with. Ashley is a fantastic caretaker - dependable, trustworthy and creative and she is always our first choice for our son!
