About Ashley

The paths that brought me to companion care was my own medical experiences. It was there that I learned that caring was the most important part of health care. I started volunteering at Legacy Heights in Ballantyne 8 years ago. I called bingo, went shopping every week and also hosted my own happy hour. I've helped a hand full of people before and through Covid. I took one of my ladies to her Doctors appointments, warmed her meals and helped with anything I could for her until she passed. I had a couple I just grocery shopped for and did their laundry. I have had many wonderful care giving experiences. I started taking care of a lady 5 years ago. I would pick her up from the Alzheimer's Daycare, get her food and stay with her until her daughter got home. We did puzzles, we walked and talked honestly. It was amazing and I loved her . Unfortunately, she broke her hip and now is in a skilled nursing home.
