About Ashley

My desire to help students succeed comes from my desire to learn. As a California Polytechnic State University, Pomona student majoring in Civil engineering and minoring in math, I know how important it is to have a solid academic foundation early on in life. Hard work and persistence are the key to success. While in high school, I was apart of the National Honor Society and had the opportunity to tutor students in grades 6th through 12th. Tutoring these students gave me an opportunity to understand that every student is at different levels and patience is the key to ensure each child s success. As a student in college, I feel as though I have the tools I need to equip rising graduates. I've taken the math and English classes before that you are going to take and I am very knowledgeable on the material. Working with an after school learning program, I was able to have the opportunity to tutor and teach students as well. I am very friendly, approachable and patient.
