About Ashley

As a tutor, I am able to clearly communicate and break down complex concepts into simpler and easy to understand ideas. I am able to remain patient and calm, because I understand that everyone learns at their own pace and will be there to offer my support when needed. I am adaptable and can adjust my teaching style to meet a students specific needs, whether they learn best by visuals, hands on activities, or verbal explanations. I am very passionate about education and am proud when I can help students learn something new that could potentially inspire them. Empathy and showing understanding to the frustration that can come with learning has proven to be one of my strong suits. Working with students to overcome those feelings and push through is one of my favorite things to experience. Seeing a student grow and learn to think critically and independently are my top priorities.
