About Ashley

Hi, my name is Ash! Three words I am often described as are bubbly, positive, and friendly! My hobbies and interests include art, hiking, and video games! I have been working with children for almost 10 years now! I can't imagine working with another population. When people ask why, my reply is, "Kids just make sense!" I began with early childhood education where I loved teaching kids of all ages , from infants to pre-k! For the past 2 years, I have worked as a pediatric CNA in a children's hospital. I am currently in school pursuing my BSN. I genuinely love my job and can not wait to move up to pediatric nurse! Things most important to me when caring for children, no matter that environment are: Ensuring the care I give is developmentally appropriate for each individual child based on their own needs, embracing each child's uniqueness and encouraging creativity and self expression, and finding opportunities to incorporate learning and fun!
