About Ashley

Hi! My name is Ashley. I have spent the last 6 years in and out of several different child education/ care environments. For 4 1/2 years I spent my days split between taking college courses and working for a before and after school program and babysitting locally on the weekends. After a few years I took on a promotion to be a lead director for this program and essentially run it myself. This allowed me to grow as a worker and a teacher and be able to create relationships with my students and parents. After many years in this field, I decided to take on a position working as a special education aide at a local elementary school. I have lots of experience working around children grade levels K-5, tailored to specific needs and learning disabilities such as autism, ADHD, OCD, and have been accustomed to learning different therapeutic de-escalation skills. I am looking forward to some more experience and growth!
