About Ashley

I grew up in foster care so I have babysat, and helped raise children from all backgrounds and medical problems. I have also worked as a teachers aide for middle school kids. I was a Sunday school assistant for 1st graders. I have been doing babysitting for friends of children ranging from newborns - 13 years old, for 7 years. My dream is to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner as I have a love for children. I love working with them. I feel that how we raise our children is how our world is going to be. So it is up to us to do a good job and teach them what they need to know about life. Currently, I am working as a Personal Care Assistant in a Quadriplegic apartment facility. I have worked at this job since October 2013, after becoming certified as a Personal Care Assistant, and have done in home care before that. Since I recently got a car, I want to transfer to individual in home care instead of working in a facility. I love working with people, and knowing that I am helping them and making their day a little bit better. We may all one day be in the position of needing daily help, and I want to have someone there for me, so I am doing my part to help people in this situation now.
