I have been working with individuals with special needs since I was 14. I worked with a boy with Down Syndrome during the summer of 2015. I graduated High School early and worked in an Autistic classroom during the spring of 2018. My role in this classroom consisted of helping students with communicating, reading, and writing as well as basic filing and classroom organization. The summer after my freshman year of college I worked for Developmental Disabilities Resources as a Direct Support Professional for one boy with Down Syndrome and another boy with Autism.
