About Ashley

Hello, I'm Ashley! I am an overall animal lover, and a long time caretaker. I grew up in a small town in Louisiana and was raised around all kinds of animals. Dogs, cats, ferrets, chickens, cows, gators, you name it. I have three cats of my own and have rescued, fostered, and re-homed many cats in my life. My favorite cat rescue story is of my cat Linden, who my fiance found hiding behind a cypress stump in a misty swamp east of New Orleans. We still talk about how picturesque the whole scene was, and how lucky we are to have found her. By day, I work as a mental health therapist, specializing in higher needs populations. I feel that I am a caretaker by nature, and since moving to the city I have been missing getting to care for animals in the same way I would back home in Louisiana. I'm no stranger to the stress of choosing who to trust your pets with. I have hopes that I can ease some of that stress, assuring that your pet is cared for as if they are my own!
