I am passionate about caring for children and adults with special needs and serving their families. I have four years of experience caring for and teaching individuals with special needs through the Clemson Life program and three years of experience as a unit leader for Camp Big Heart, a special needs camp. I also worked with adults with varying needs in a clinical setting as a caregiver and with children at the Care Center, specifically in the speech therapy unit. I have a BS degree in Health Science and am working to become a pediatric speech pathologist. I have experience working with mental health, behavioral, and communication difficulties and am familiar with using augmentative and alternative communication devices and wheelchairs. My organized, reliable, and creative nature have helped me to create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment for children and adults with special needs.
