My passion has always been for seniors. At a young age, my grandfather entered a nursing home and I saw the negatives of being away from family. I decided that when I could afford to pay for college on my own, I'd begin a career in elder advocate law. To begin my journey, I started working in the adult disability field. My past experience is not huge, but it was very hands-on. Before my grandfather entered the nursing home, I took care of him daily. I prepared and administered his medications (I also got certified to pass meds through Grace Community Services in May). I also did all his grocery shopping, helped my grandmother with meal preparation and also took care of any other needs they'd have.
