About Ashley

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am a 19-year-old college student. I live in Roxbury, NJ, where I am currently spending summer! I study Music Ed. at school, where I have volunteered at schools and working with kids aged PreK to 8th grade over the course of 2 years. I love kids, grew up with sisters, and am eager to gain experience caring for and teaching children :) I'd describe my personality as bubbly, outgoing, and meticulous. I like working with kids because they are the future and deserve to be brought up in safe and healthy environments! I'm looking for a job that brings me more experience in learning how to identify the needs of children, not only by caring for them but also teaching and tutoring! I started working with kids when I began college, beginning with weekly visits to a local preschool, and then teaching ukulele to pre-teen aged children, and then weekly visits to lead teach a middle school theater program!
