I started caring for seniors when I have worked for IHSS for 6 years. I started the elderly during hospice stage this past six months and loved caring for the elderly. Ashleigh is so kind, caring and patient. She's extremely knowledgeable and an extremely hard worker. Since my husband and I work full time outside of the home, Ashleigh was the part time caregiver for our grandmother for the last 4 years - and Full time for the last 6 months once grandma went on hospice care/bed-ridden. Grandma was 79 years old and 85% blind with macular degeneration when she moved to California to live with us in 2020. Ashleigh was there with her every single day, and when she wasn't there, she was monitoring grandma on the camera. Ashleigh took full charge of her care from bathing/hygiene & incontinence, to diet, shopping and tracking all appointments with nurses, and everything in between. She was our life saver, grandma's savior and a blessing from God. We feel secure in knowing that Ashleigh made sure that grandma was loved and cared for until her very last breath. Ashleigh will always be our go to when we're asked for referrals - we HIGHLY recommend her!
