First off let me start by saying if I could give Ashleigh higher than a 5 star rating I would. I also want to preface this by stating I have been a registered nurse for 20 years and didn't think I could trust anyone with the care of my parents until I met Ashleigh. She started off nearly two years ago working with my parents. She was hired to be more of a companion for my mom. My father had advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia but at the time didn't need much care. In less than a year of Ashleigh starting with us my fathers condition deteriorated and my mother was also diagnosed with dementia along with her various other health conditions. She stepped up in a way that exceeded our whole families expectations. Here are just a few of the things she did for us: made phone calls to help me with my parents care, took them to the grocery store or picked up what they needed on her way, helped to clean the house, cooked with my mother, managed their medications, took them to doctors appointments, engaged them both in activities to keep them both mentally and physically active and most of all she was patient. She quickly became part of our family. Ashleigh went over and beyond when my fathers health deteriorated and through his passing. She continued to step up and never needed any direction she just knew what to do ALWAYS. I would highly highly recommend her to anyone looking for care of their family member in any capacity. She is extremely intelligent, resourceful, reliable and trustworthy. She truly was a gift and blessing to our family and we are forever grateful for her care, love and compassion.
