Ashleigh has been tutoring our daughter in math in science for the past two years. The pandemic really affected our daughter ability to keep ahead in these subjects and we didn’t want her to fall behind. Ashleigh’s background in education, as well as experience tutoring a variety of grades and subjects made her an easy choice. Our daughter struggles when she feels that she is under pressure to do work. She has severe test anxiety as well as home work anxiety, and this was a big concern for us starting out, however, ashleigh recommended that we turn work into play or as she would say “gamified” learning. Ashleigh creatively took these standards that our daughter needed to learn and turn them into fun, interactive activities that not only inspired our daughter, but helped her grasp the concepts that she needed to grasp. Two years on our daughter is above grade level in reading and math. She is thriving and confident in school and her teachers have seen her progress in her confidence in her learning. Ashleigh has truly been a blessing to our family and we look forward to continuing to work with her. I highly recommend her as a tutor for any grade and any subject. As well, her background and special education and certification in learning and developmental disorders makes her a great asset to a family that is needing extra assistance in the areas.
