Hi there, my name is Ashlee and I am a 19-year-old who started working with kids when I took the Child Development class at my high school. The course taught me so much about caring and communicating with children, it was my first time ever really interacting with preschool age children. This came in handy later when I continued learning about childcare at the Ymca, where I became a Swim Instructor for preschoolers. After I felt confident in my abilities to teach and care for 3-5-year-olds, I expanded my classes from 8 months - 13 years old and began teaching up to Level 4. I left my position after a year in search of a full-time job after graduating high school to pay for college.
