Recently I worked this past semester with an autism school on campus. The classroom I was in was all boys with autism. They ranged from 5 to 9 years old. I also helped with other children when needed. The classroom was based on the ability for preschool to first graders, like colors and shapes. Two out of the five students did not have the verbal skills to speak, yet they did know what you were saying. I loved it! My heart for special children is always learning. I love learning and experiencing new challenges. Not every two children are the same!
