I am a direct support professional for seniors and people with disabilities with experience in a variety of settings, including community, in-home, and live-in. I bring a bright attitude and a care philosophy that focuses on promoting the autonomy and independence of the people I support in a healthy and meaningful way. Relationships in care can look a lot of different ways, and people have their own preferences, but I prefer a "live life together" approach, one that includes personal investment, interest, and genuine care. Outside of my role as a caregiver, I have a bachelor of arts degree in Cultural Anthropology and Community Studies, am a huge fan of writing, video games, and cooking, and I have a senior dog named Eeyore.
